What is a Will? 

No matter what your age, virtually everyone should have a will. In its simplest form, a will is a set of detialed directions you create to tell your family what to do with your worldly possessions when you die.  

 

​More importantly, a will gives you the ability to designate who should take care of your children (and pets). Basically a will gives you the opportunity to make sure that everyone and everything you care about is properly taken care of should you pass away.

 

Do I need a Will?

While pretty much every adult needs a will, go through the list below.  If you answer yes to any of the items then - YES YOU NEED A WILL.

• Do you have any investments?

• Do you have a life threatening illness?

• Do your want to control who gets your belongings?

• Do you want to protest the interests of your loved ones?

• Do your want your Hiers to get money faster?

What happens if I die without a Will?
 

If you die without a "Will' everything you own will have to go into PROBATE (in court before a judge) which can be expensive and time consuming.  Worst of all, the individuals you most want taken care of may not receive the inheritance you would want them to.
